Our infrastructure works scope @ UHK encompassed a broad range of needs of our client to amalgamate service installations and provisional infrastructure undertaken as part of other projects and to co-ordinate and unify these in useable civils infrastructure.
These works were essential in enabling future capital projects being realised on UHK’s campus, by providing continuous infrastructure and resilience.
During the course of the project we installed 4500m of LV & MV ducting; 5000m of Comms and Fibre ducting and 600m of 200ᴓ EF HDPE main along with direct connections to the live hospital. Electrical power supply resilience was achieved through the construction of a new primary sub-station and switch room with adjoining dual stand generator back-up, integrated and connected to the existing hospital infrastructure.
Mutiple road-crossing on emergency access routes we’re planned and executed without incident. The works had a strong public interface due to their location and we’re successfully undertaken in a live environment within normal working hours without disruption.
