Eamon Costello (Kerry) Ltd are looking to recruit a Health and Safety Manager
The Role
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company’s health & safety management systems
- Ensure full compliance with Irish H&S legislation, standards, and client requirements
- Oversee audits, inspections, incident investigations, and reporting
- Work closely with senior management, project teams, and clients to embed a strong safety culture
- Review and approve risk assessments, method statements, and project safety plans
- Provide strategic safety input at tender, planning, and delivery stages
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Health & Safety Manager role within construction, civils, utilities, or infrastructure
- Strong leadership and people-management skills
- In-depth knowledge of Irish health & safety legislation and best practice
- Relevant third-level or professional qualification
- Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder-management skills
- Full clean driving licence
