Phased extension to and refurbishment of St. Josephs college Lucan, including demolition of portions of existing school, refurbishment and modernisation of sections of existing school, along with extensions to the North, South & East of the school.
The new build work extensions total approximately 3,346 sq m, including new teaching halls, science & home economics rooms, recreational & pastoral rooms along with staff accommodation.
Refurbishment works cover an area of approximately 4,496m2 and include aesthetic improvements along with the upgrade of Mechanical & Electrical Services.
Significant realignment and accommodation works on the existing road infrastructure for the newly enlarged school are being undertaken to both Lucan Heights & Lucan Roads. New foul, surface & watermain works are required along same along with the introduction of controlled crossings and car parking / school drop off / collection arrangements.
