Met Eireann - New Observatory Office Building

MET Eireann have relocated to the IAA’s tower compound in Ballygarvan as part of an overall re-development at Cork Airport.
The building is traditional masonry with pre-cast floor and roof. The building floor level is elevated to 1.5m over existing ground level to enable visuals on the runway from the observation room. Externally an in-situ RC concrete stairs wraps the building to allow access to roof level.
