The project consisted of the site development works along with the construction of a high profile building, Block A, on the Swords Road to the highest quality, fully fitted out for office and retail accommodation, all to the latest energy efficient standards.
The project was developed on the footprint of an old filling station and resulted in a significant amount of analysis being required to manage earthmoving of contaminated soil and the presence of hydrocarbons in line with the project Health, safety and environmental plan.
Extensive structural glazing is a feature of the building, along with honed stone cladding. The development also included some interesting sustainable elements including Sedum roofs to the upper flat roofs, permeable paving to all hard surfaces, and hydrobake to control surface water off-site.
