For a second consecutive year Eamon Costello (Kerry) Ltd were immensely proud to be shortlisted in the Irish Construction industry Awards, this time in two categories, Education and Conservation.
Kerry Sports Academy at IT Tralee was included in a nationwide shortlist of nine potential winners across all submitted education projects - a huge achievement and testament to the incredible project and building The Sports Academy has become.
We are honoured to have been associated with the project as main contractor and though not a winner on the night we are sure it will be the home and nursery of many future winners as it becomes part of the larger Munster Technological University.
The shortlist in the Conservation project of the year represented a sublime list of prestigious Conservation work carried out on some of the most iconic historical buildings in Ireland.
Amongst such competitors ECKL were delighted the quality of our conservation work on Doneraile Court was duly recognised and placed 3rd behind Historic Leinster House and The Shelbourne Hotel.
We would like to take the opportunity to thank the personnel, management and design teams who contributed enormously to the success of these projects and look forward to maintaining the standard through 2021 and beyond.
