Aghadoe Heights Hotel and Spa

The works comprised the construction of an extension to the existing hotel building, including a Wellness Centre at lower ground level, three floors of hotel bedrooms (8 bedrooms per floor) and a penthouse apartment above the bedrooms. Construction involved demolition of existing single-storey buildings, significant excavation to basement level, construction of RC retaining structures and footings, erection of structural steel frame, provision of masonry infill panels and other finishes, and all associated civil works, including new foul and storm sewers.

The Spa and wellness centre is truly the jewel in the crown of this development - completed to the highest standard and with painstaking attention to detail it is comprised of nine treatment rooms, thermal suite and precious stone cabin.

Subsequent to this project being completed the hotel was awarded the highest classification possible by the AA – that of “Five Red Stars”, becoming only the fourth Irish hotel to achieve the top classification.
