The Works consist of demolition of the existing security hut and construction of a new security hut further into the busy Business Park to ease traffic flow at peak morning and evening rush hours.
Works involve segregation of the Works Site in a central island between the entry and exit lanes to the Park with associated Traffic Management measures and protection & separation of the workers from the live traffic. Demolition consists of removal of the existing steel frame and clad hut including foundations and re-routing of services to the new hut location.
The construction of the new hut consists of foundations, floor slabs, structural steel frame, architectural cladding and glazing and services connections including the installation of new traffic management security barriers, road reinstatement & new traffic line marking layout installation all undertaken within a confined Works Site including night time and weekend working to ensure minimal disruption to the Parks business activities.
