Eamon Costello (Kerry) Ltd are again delighted to have been retained by Rohan Holdings, a repeat Client of our ours, for the delivery of a significant industrial unit at their prime North City Business Park located just 250m from the M50 motorway.
The project consists of significant site developments works across a Site of approximately 2.5 acres, including a bulk dig of circa 12,000m3 of material, filling of approximately 30,000T to required levels, approximately 500m3 of attenuation capacity in a precast tank solution and associated storm water drainage ranging from 150mm to 450mm diameter drainage network. Associated foul drainage and 100mm fire mains of approximately 300m are also being installed. The logistics yard areas cover 3,000m2 while fire fighting roads and car park macadam surfaces cover approximately 1,500m2.
The warehouses themselves consist of steel portal framed buildings (approximately 350T of structural steel) with 12 metre clear height, finished in composite external architectural panels and curtain walling. The buildings are founded on approximately 90 No. pad foundations with strip foundations connecting same. An ESB Substation is provided to service the future tenants needs. . An enclosed wash down area and storage area are being constructed as an Annex to the rear of the industrial unit.
Offsite manufacturing has been utilised for all concrete elements where possible including floor inspection pits, precast attenuation tank, floor plates, and on site retaining walls. The warehouse floor will be constructed to an FM2 finish.
