IDA Advance Technology Building Tralee

IDA are currently investing in advanced technology facilities throughout Ireland as part of a major €250 million stimulus plan to boost employment in the regions.

As part of the plan Tralee was one of the first project undertaken which will see the delivery of a 2540m/sq purpose designed advanced manufacturing facility at Kerry Technology Park suitable for pharmaceutical or medical technology or high value engineering.

The development will consist of a gross floor area of 2540m/sq to include office facilities, carparking, signage, and all associated site works including vehicular access to serve the entire facility.

The building is predominantly steel portal, with pre-cast flooring, heavy duty in-situ floor slab, clad in Kingspan Optimo and Louvre sheeting laid vertically.

The project is being constructed to LEED CS standard throughout and on completion will be required to achieve an air-tightness of 3m3/m2/Hr.

Heating is by means of air-water and fan coil units distributed throughout. Internally a generous double height foyer leads to associated office space where raised access computer flooring will provide long term flexibility for client requirements.
