Construction of a new single storey 50 bed community nursing unit building including the following:

• 2 no 25 bed care modules including day / dining areas, nurses station and office, relatives room, ancillary accommodation including toilets, bathrooms, utility rooms & stores

• Central module which includes reception, foyer, offices, examination room, meeting and function rooms, seating/dining areas, oratory and ancillaries.

• Services module which includes staff facilities, stores, kitchen, plant areas and waste stores including recycling of plastics, glass and cardboard, ESB substation and standby generator.

• 55 car parking spaces within landscaped areas as well as set down for ambulances and delivery vehicles together with associated ground works and hard and soft landscaping

Airtightness Testing – The specified level of allowable air leakage is an air permeability of 5 (m3/hr)/m2 at 50 Pa building pressure.The building Achieved an air permeability of 3.8 (m3/hr)/m2 at 50 Pa building pressure
