We are delighted to that the Bon Secours Care Village St. Joseph Mount Desert project won under the ‘Wellbeing’ category at the RIAI Awards 2019.
Extension works at Mount Desert will consist of two distinct areas of development to the East and West living quarters. In total 36No. bedrooms along with en-suites and supporting rooms will be added.
In a series of separate works the existing restaurant, activities room, staff and storage facilities at lower ground level and main internal circulation and the upgrade and expansion of the existing sewage treatment facility will take place. To facilitate the integration of the extension into the overall campus demolition works will be required at existing sitting room lounges & pantries.
To accommodate staff and patrons in increased numbers additional carparking will be constructed and a full and comprehensive landscaping package of works will be undertaken.
