Phase 1 Cloisters Spa

Construction of a 3 storey extension to rear of existing hotel, consisting of a 10,000sq ft Spa, medi skin clinic and leisure facility, including plant rooms, lounge areas, public toilets, office and ancillary facilities, 38 bedrooms, & 4 no suites. Construction of a single storey state-of-the art conference facility and all necessary site works & car-parks.

 

Phase 2 Hotel Extension

This consisted of the renovation of a portion of the existing hotel including reception, dining room, lounge area, corridors etc which involved matching & restoring of the existing finishes, restoring & re-pointing of old stone walls & the construction of an old style extension to same. The Muckross Park Hotel is one of the oldest hotels in Killarney, it opened its doors as The Herbert Arms in 1795 and was part of the original Muckross House Estate.
